Arndt's auto service was started in 1998 by Jason Arndt in Hartford Michigan specializing in light auto and truck repair, air conditioning system repair, brakes, belts, hoses, engine repair and replacement, transmission repair and replacement, tires and tire repair, with the addition of the hydraulic hose shop. Jason also repairs air conditioning on agriculture equipment "tractors"

In the fall of 1999 Jason bought his first wrecker for towing his customers with towing services, winchouts. slide off service, stuck cars, offering unlock service, flat tire, spare tire and break down. Then in 2001 he bought the 2nd wrecker, a rollback, and kept growing the fleet from there.

In January 2005, Jason purchased Zielke Towing and tires from Kenn Zielke and still operates Zielke Towing servicing Benton Harbor, St Joe, Saint Joseph, Coloma, Watervliet, Stevensville, Lakeshore, South Haven, Covert, Hagar Shores, Lake Michigan beach, Sister Lakes, Keeler, Magician Lake, Paw Paw Lake, Berrien County and Van Buren County.

In Fall of 2008 Jason moved his operations to 1303 M-139, the former Star Stamping building. Where he now had ample room to grow his machine shop, for repair and fabrication of tow trucks and other vehicles. Jason can perform a wide variety of welding fabrication processes from metal shearing, punch press, press brake operations, 100 ton press, shaft straightening, turning, lathe work milling, Aluminum welding, TIG welding, ARC welding.

In 2012 Zielkes started manufacturing concession vehicles per customer order.
